"I have been fortunate enough to travel with tour companies to 3 TDF's and ride in Italy with groups but I must say Stuart O'Grady's tour was right up there with the best. He made all level of riders feel comfortable and provided expert advice and support. The newer people to cycling did not feel intimidated and the cycling enthusiasts were mesmerised by his tips and stories. I found it a once in a lifetime experience which I will be doing again!"

“I have travelled over to Adelaide for the Tour Down Under on a number of occasions since its inception and have always enjoyed the experience and the delights of SA. For the 2016 Tour some colleagues and I did 2 days on the SOG Cycling Tour and this certainly made the 2016 Tour the highlight of my many trips – from riding the Adelaide hills on the old AIS training route to dinner conversation about Olympic Gold and Roubaix this experience is one that all cycling enthusiasts should do. Not all great cyclists make good cycling guides but Stuey and the team are great guides and hosts.”

Happy to comment on last year the things I enjoyed were, great rides at a good pace and with an excellent group and very experienced guides. Viewing experience in the Adelaide Hills was a highlight - great spot and a great way to enjoy the race an Australian version of VIP at the Tour.  Accommodation in the Hills was excellent as were drinks and meals that night.

“I really enjoyed my experience with the SOG cycling tour during 2016, in fact it was a real highlight for me. The opportunity to ride over a couple of days through some brilliant scenery with some like-minded people was absolutely fantastic. Also to have the chance to talk just informally with people like Stuart O'Grady and Jay Sweet was excellent. Although we were all of varying capabilities, that didn't matter. In the end it was as much a social networking event is a was a cycling event. That said, the cycling part of it was interesting, exciting and at times demanding. I was also impressed that a number of interstate riders attended the Tour which added to the diversity and interest of the event. There was also tremendous attention to detail. From the accommodation and meal at Mount Lofty House through to the final luncheon in Unley, it was just superb event. I was fortunate enough to be one of the few who “scored” a ride around the Stirling circuit in a team vehicle. Hair raising, exhilarating, and just slightly crazy, but, I think, truly a once-in-a-lifetime event for me! I find it difficult to suggest any improvements. I think just continue to do what you do which is great attention to detail and pitched at people who appreciate their cycling and appreciate the sport. In short, I felt really privileged to do the ride and look forward to hopefully doing another one at some stage in the future.”
